Fixing

All tiling and fixing must comply with SANS 062: 1991 code of practice. Infraset Building Products cannot be held responsible for excessive breakages due to bad tiling installation and mishandling.

Undertile Membrane

Infraset undertile membrane should form part of any roof tile installation in exposed and semi-exposed areas. The undertile membrane is mandatory in all cases and does not serve as waterproofing but merely as a membrane.

Through body colours

Through colour tiles are manufactured with pigmentation embedded in the body of the product (tiles and fittings) and no surface colouring is required. Due to the manufacturing process using natural material such as sand, cement and colouring pigments, discoloration can occur due to efflorescent once exposed to the environment, therefore colour uniformity cannot be guaranteed.
